Mir Ahmad Bin Kasem, also known as Barrister Arman, is a Bangladeshi barrister and human rights activist who is alleged to have been a victim of enforced disappearance by the Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI) of the Bangladesh government.

Mir Ahmad is the son of the late Mir Kashem Ali, a prominent leader of the opposition political party Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, and was a member of his father's legal team at the International Crimes Tribunal before his abduction.

On August 6, 2024, Mir Ahmad was released and returned to his family.

Barrister Ahmad Bin Kasem Arman. He is the lawyer of the Jamaat leaders who were victims of judicial killings, and the son of Mir Kashem Ali. For this crime, he was forcibly disappeared on August 9, 2016. From then until August 6, 2024, he spent a torturous eight years in a state of limbo between life and death. Each day of that captivity was horrific.
